How to compress Outlook attachments automatically

Automatic archiving of files attached to messages using Attachments Processor for Outlook
01. To compress attachments automatically in Outlook, we use the Attachments Processor.
For our example, we will switch to the advanced mode of the tool by navigating to the MAPILab tab and accessing the Attachments Processor settings.
02. In the next step, we create a new rule for the processing of our files.
The rule can be applied according to criteria set on the Email message itself, the type of files attached, or to file properties such as size or name. The wide range of other options allows you to adjust the Attachments Processor to your precise needs.
03. To test if we set up everything correctly, we create a new message with an attachment that should trigger the new rule.
As we see, the file was compressed automatically in Outlook before being sent.
