A terrain model is a set of triangles that are mathematically computed from point data collected from a surface being modeled. They are used to define irregular surfaces such as the surface of the earth. Terrain models are used in many different Bentley products including MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenRail, and more.
This presentation provides information and best practices related to working with Terrain Models.
