DIY Arduino based 2d wire bender | Arduino Projects
Hello guys,
This video is all about how we made our own 2d wire bender using Original Arduino Nano and a4988 motor drivers which we used to make some aesthetically pleasing items.
It is used to bend 1 mm brass in various shapes.
The Construction includes 4 important parts:-
1) Bender
2) Feeder
3) Roller
4) Wire holder
The most difficult part in this DIY project was to make the feeder and push the wire forward. we used 0.7 mm brass wire before but it didn't work because the extruder didn't support it. later we shifted to 1mm brass and printed a custom roller to push the wire forward. we also made some changes in the nozzle as it was breaking in between sometimes. We are satisfied with the result and will also try a 3d wire bender someday.
