The snare drum trick every producer should know
Layering sounds on top of your snare is a well known production trick. A very important thing to realise when using this trick is that you can spread out the layered sounds across multiple snares or even multiple bars. So just layer every other snare, or add some reverb every four bars. Stuff like that really makes your beats come alive!
