If you’ve conjugated verbs in Russian, I suppose you face some difficulties.
I want to simplify this rule and try to explain the general steps of conjugation.
As you know, there are 2 conjugations of verbs. The 1st and the 2nd
The big question is how to define it?
1) Put a verb in the infinitive form
2) Define what end this word has:
ИТЬ (+ 11 exceptions) – 2nd conjugation
or
other endings (ЕТЬ, АТЬ, ОТЬ, ИТЬ and others) – 1st conjugation
3) Look at the tables and write correct endings
Let’s make out this rule using the verb
To do/ to make – делать
To know - знать
To get - получать
To think - думать
To work - работать
