I'm starting a tutorial series to help explain songs, while also giving insight about what makes songs tick, how to play different styles and techniques, how to hear chords, and many other lessons along the way.
In this episode, we're talking about how to use different techniques to change your tone, and add character and nuance to your playing! We'll learn how to make notes brighter or darker, more or less percussive, etc. with hammer-ons, pull-offs, upstrokes and downstrokes, picking vs. fingerpicking, and other cool tricks to put in your toolbox!
