Firebase Storage - Upload and Retrieve Images - Part 3 - RETRIEVE IMAGES - Android Studio Tutorial
In part 3 of the Firebase Storage tutorial, we finally retrieve our images in our RecyclerView activity by creating a DatabaseReference and adding a ValueEventListener to it. We than loop through the DatasnapShot we receive in the onDataChange callback and create our Upload objects by calling getValue on it. We store these Upload objects in a List, pass it to our adapter and then set this adapter on our RecyclerView. We will also handle errors in the onCancelled callback which we for example get, when we have no permission to read from the database.
