“This isn’t a real Daytona…” I’ve seen that comments all over the place. So I wanted to find out for myself.
In this video, I take the Triumph Daytona 660 out for a proper ride and share my honest first impressions. This is my first real experience with the new Daytona, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with how different it seems from older models.
It’s more comfortable, more usable, and definitely more beginner-friendly than what people might expect from a “Daytona”… but does that make it better, or has it lost what made the name special?
I talk through how it feels on the road, the riding position, power delivery, and whether this is actually a great everyday sports bike , or if it’s missing something.
If you’re thinking about the Triumph Daytona 660, or wondering if it lives up to the hype, this should give you a real-world perspective.

Let me know what you think, is this the future of sport bikes, or should Triumph have kept it old school? 👀
