A Guide to FL Studio's Fruity 7 Band EQ
Fruity 7 Band EQ is a simple EQ with preset frequency values to only alter the amount of those specific frequencies. There is no tension control, so you can't etch out a particular tone, but for general quick EQ that calls for mild precision, this is as simple as they come.
Think of the same graph that we dealt with in EQUO, and you will get the idea. One of the fastest ways to automate a quick bass removal is linking the low-frequency knob to an automation clip. Remember that you can always use the integrated Mixer track for the speediest EQ changes, but this is easy to forget about, and a plug-in is easier to turn off for comparing settings than having to go back and completely readjust the built-in EQ.
This plug-in is great for understanding what specific frequencies are affected when you raise or lower them, but I think you will find the other EQ options much more flexible.
