If you aren't familiar with how to backup your iPhone, watch this video to learn how. This is one method you can use to do it.
Things you'll need:
your iPhone (of course)
Your Apple ID
a high speed, trustworthy WiFi connection (not LTE, 4G, H+, H, 3G...)
Patience
Depending on how much stuff is on your phone (Pictures, Videos, Applications, Contacts, etc), the backup process could take a few minutes, or much longer.
