Dear COPPA
If one day you feel like charging me for making a Hellspawn video that you see as safe for kids, here is some advice for you... Hellspawn will NEVER, EVER, IN A MILLION YEARS be child friendly.
I've been holding back how explicit Hellspawn can be for a while now, but now must be a good time to finally show everyone just how adult Hellspawn can get when most of the characters are depicted as 15-18.
(Spoiler Warning)
First of all, Sex References. In season 1 and 2, there are going to be a lot of sex jokes. Whether it be in a sex toy (as seen here), self ejaculation, or NC-17 levels of sex. Our main character, Horney, SHE IS A PROSTITUTE IN THE SERIES! In our world, prostitution is bad, but in the Hellspawn universe, It's a very popular job. If that didn't convince you, look at the picture again. You see it? HORNEY AND XAROTHE ARE NAKED! THAT SHOULD AT LEAST GIVE SOME SIGN OF MATURITY
Secondly, Profanity. Any episode of Hellspawn will contain at the very least 5 cuss words. And as you saw with the shoes comic I made a while ago, or the Sorizal vs Death short story I made, I won't hesitate to include swears. The most swears coming from Xarothe most of the time.
Third, Violence. Xarothe is a Wrath Demon, meaning that she's pretty aggressive and violent. She Carries A GUN for crying out loud. I haven't shown too much violence yet... Besides Sorizal ripping her own heart out on the video where I introduce her, but still.
Lastly, The messages it sends. There are so many messages in Hellspawn being sent to the viewer. One of the most obvious (if you've been here long enough) is to never judge a book by it's cover... In fact, THAT MESSAGE IS REPEATED SEASON AFTER SEASON! But it also tells the viewer about Suicide, Assassination, and how some people laugh at your misfortune. Horney's mom dies and she's forces to live with her abusive dad. That conflict never resolves and she's forced to stay with him. Horney's mom was found dead, so they assume she was assassinated. Both of Xarothe's parents die when she was very young. Horney leaves her at the end of season II, and Xarothe is forced to be alone. Again, conflict never resolves, and she's out for most of the rest of the series. Xarothe's Dad was assassinated and her Mom committed suicide. What about the main villain? Hollow, Emotionless, Nui Harime Impersonating Antichrist, Sorizal. She had to kill her own brother, tear his dad into shreds, and constantly hurt herself just to live a better life on the surface. What happens to her? She gets abused by the rest of her family. Every message won't be a good one. Hellspawn, for a religious series, has a lot to do with reality and how some people are living awful lives and constantly want to end it, but something forces them to keep living and feel the torment that will never go away. For Sorizal, It's constantly getting reborn (not realistic, but torture), for Horney, it's her dad who doesn't want her to go the easy way out, and for Xarothe, Ironically, it's because she isn't strong enough to kill herself.
All of this is why Hellspawn is not family friendly. In fact, that is the true purpose of Hellspawn's existence in the first place. Hiding normal problems about abuse and depression all hidden in a series full of breast-size jokes.
Wow... I'm actually impressed. A drawing about two demon girls playing with a dild0, and now I'm talking about real world problems.
Welp, Hellspawn belongs to me and TJ.
