When (and how) should I make a new custom element?
I've been asked this question a lot when explaining web components. When do I know it's time to create a new custom element? What's the breaking point? When is it fine as one piece or need modular. I thought it best to answer by creating my own element and talking through the subject. This talks through the problem at hand and then I use the WCFactory tooling to build a reusable web component.
This is the first part of building two elements and I stop before I start wiring up modals and extending complex functionality (i'll do a video on that with something finished instead of live building).
