Engineered Slab on Grade Construction Build by Armstrong Contracting
Check out this engineered slab on grade construction build by @armstrong_contracting. The 3 bedroom home with an in-law suite above the garage will be built using Logix ICF, Heat-Sheet and Halo Subterra. The slab is designed using Logix KD panels as the perimeter edge element. The Armstrong team then used 12" of HD Heat-Sheet inside this form resulting in approximately R50 under the slab. D-Rv panels were also used along the perimeter to boost R-value. This D-Rv will be used in all the ICF walls as well. Once the slab is poured, 2" of Halo Subterra will be attached to the exterior.
