DUST - A Cinematic Homage - Burning Man 2024
DUST, is an art film created by unisono films, a cinematic homage and a gift to the Burning Man community, from the heart of our Maxa family.
The filmmaking couple, Ayni and Severin Koller, have been breathing dust together since they met in Black Rock City in 2017, in deep playa. Their 37-minute film artistically weaves the 10 Principles into an immersive journey, from documenting the intense process of the build to the last glowing embers of the burning Temple, while honoring the Black Rock Desert as a sacred site, reminding us of the most important principle of sustainability – to Leave no Trace.
We always say MAXA is a platform to help each other materialize dreams, and so in 2024, we welcomed Ayni and Severin Koller into our Mexican community, supporting their vision as artists in bringing DUST to life. This visual poetry is now ready to meet the eyes and hearts of the world — best viewed on the big screen.
