3-in-1 filter: how ND, CPL and Mist work in simple terms, when to use and what tasks it is suitable for (weddings, portrait, landscape).
A detailed review and field tests of the K&F CONCEPT Nano-Xcel Series 3-in-1 filter. I shoot with a Sony A7 IV and Tamron 28-75 G2, show "before/after", give simple explanations of the functions and practical advice (S-Log3, white balance, shutter speed 1/50 at 25 fps, etc.).
Briefly about the functions:
• ND (variable) - darkens the image so that you can shoot at 25 fps and leave the shutter speed at ~1/50 and aperture without overexposing.
• CPL - removes reflections from glass and water and makes colors more saturated.
• Black Diffusion Mist 1/4 - a soft "cinematic" fog that softens highlights and textures.
