This Game - No Game No Life (w Sheets & MIDI)
Finally, here's my version of No Game No Life OP - “This Game” piano arr. by prime Animenz (2014 version, cuz i love to suffer), featuring some personal touches, melody embellishments & rhythmic variations.
I first discovered the piano versions of “This Game” & “Unravel” in 2019, which made me fall in love with anime music/piano. I was nothing but flabbergasted by the level of virtuosity that could be showcased on an anime song cover & could only Dream of playing these pieces one day.
Therefore, as we hit 700 subs, what better way to celebrate than uploading one of my all time favs. I wanna take the time to thank everyone who’s been supporting my covers from the beginning & all the new subs! Being able to grow while having a positive impact on people here has been such a blessing.
This is far from the perfect take I would have loved to upload but i hope you can hear my ideas, thoughts & emotions that went into performing this song. I really love this piano arrangement although it showed no mercy to my hands 💀 It’s just so much fun to play. There’s a strong sense of freedom & grandeur conveyed by the way the notes just roll off the fingers & how powerfully the melody is carried. It truly feels like you’re playing a rock-concert on the piano. Hope you can experience this rush of energy when listening to it as much as I did.
