Hrudaya Raga Sangamam -Samarpan at Sivam (February-2018)_62nd
Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled SAMARPAN on the 4th Sunday of every month at Sivam, Hyderabad. It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the alumni who were blessed with DIVINE association through “SAMARPAN”. The 62nd Samarpan is being held at Shivam on the evening of 25th February 2018. We are truly blessed to have HRUDAYA RAAGA SANGAMAM - A musical offering to Swami by His students of Sri Sathya Sai Mirpuri College of Music. Swami inaugurated the Music College in 2001 with Carnatic and Hindustani streams of music under the guidance of Veena Maestro Sri. Pudukkotai R Krishnamurthy. Swami often visited the Music College in college hours and enjoyed the rendition of Tyagaraja krithis by the students. During many important occasions in Kulwanth Hall, Music College students had given performances to the delight of Swami. From 2002-2005 Rama Katha was most liked by Swami and was sung by the then Music College Students. With the Divine command, many world renowned Carnatic musicians and Hindustani musicians have visited the Music College and have shared their valuable experiences as well as tips to improve music skills of the students. After passing out from the Sri Sathya Sai Mirupuri College of Music, the Alumni have formed a group called 'Sanathana Vaibhavam' to spread Swami's message through Music. This group has done 85 Musical offerings all over the state of Andhra Pradesh for Swami's 85th Birthday and 90 Musical offerings at many important places in India and Abroad for Swami's 90th Birthday. Keeping Swami's 95th Birthday in view, the group has started the journey of spreading the divine message through their concerts. We are fortunate to have them for this Samarpan to render their musical offering while speaking on their Divine Connect with the Lord.
