Modern Web browsers provide a wealth of performance-related information and services, which can be used to monitor and optimize page load speed and responsiveness. The primary source of this information is the Web Performance API. In this talk, Dan explains how this API works, and shows how to best use it to extract detailed performance information about your website. In addition, he shows how to leverage the Web Performance API in conjunction with browser dev tools, and how to use it for performance monitoring to prevent performance regressions.
