Black oxide coating, metal blackening, cold black oxide, whatever you want to call it, it's really cool. In this video I try out one DIY blackening product: EPI's Insta-Blak 333. I show how I completed all four steps of their process and then I analyze the results. All four chemicals used in this video are included in their basic starter kit. You will need to supply your own gloves, containers, brushes, and whatever else you may find useful.
