Hello everyone, just a few days ago, the third beta for version 6.2 officially began. And honestly, at this point, we already have a really good idea of what’s coming next. From Durin and Jahoda joining the game, to all the upcoming free rewards, events, and the new quality-of-life updates, version 6.2 is shaping up to be a pretty exciting patch. So, let’s jump right in and break down everything you need to know about it.
Now, for a quick reminder about the giveaways! Both of the 6480 Genesis Crystals giveaways are still active and will stay open until November 30th. I’ll be announcing the winners on December 1st. As always, these are part of the monthly giveaways we do here on the channel — so if you haven’t joined yet, make sure you do! Let’s start with the banners, because that’s usually what everyone wants to know first. Many of you might already be aware of the lineup, but if you’re not, here’s what’s coming. We’re getting Durin, a brand-new five-star Pyro sub-DPS sword user who scales heavily with attack percentage. His entire kit focuses on off-field Pyro reaction damage, which makes him a really strong choice whether you’re running reaction-based teams or going for a pure Pyro setup.
Alongside him, we’ll also get Jahoda, a new four-star Anemo support who scales with HP percentage. Right now, according to testers, her kit might feel a bit underwhelming at first glance. The main reason is that her abilities seem focused primarily on buffing Pyro characters, which doesn’t really make her stand out when we already have strong supports like Sucrose or Bennett. On top of that, her buffs for other elements appear noticeably weaker, so she doesn’t quite fit into a lot of existing team compositions at the moment.
As for the rest of the banner lineup, since Durin is the only new five-star, the remaining banners will include rerun characters. In the first phase, we’re expected to see Durin debut alongside Venti, while the second phase will feature Varesa returning, accompanied by Xilonen. This banner lineup has been confirmed by several reliable sources, so there’s a pretty good chance we’ll see exactly that during the official livestream reveal.
