ben & rey || I shut us down. (tlj spoilers)

Also, the quality of the clips are shitty. I couldn't make it look decent like all the other talented editors out there, but hey ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wanted to make an edit of them immediately. But I am DEFINITELY going to repost this with HD footage because it really annoyed me to not have the clips in HD. To be honest I was not going to post this at all and wait for HD footage to come out but I couldn't resist :P
After I saw the movie, this song immediately popped into my head, and I thought it fit perfectly with the progression of Kylo and Rey in episode 8. They discover their force bond and that binds them together, bringing them closer to each other. When Ben agrees that he's a monster and offers his hand, Rey refuses because it's not what she expected. She expected to bring him back to the light but he wasn't swayed. The mistake he makes "shuts" them down, and its only in the end that he realizes he screwed up. And they're back to where they started, as enemies.
I still have mixed feelings about episode 8, but I really loved Kylo and Rey in this one. AND THAT FORCE BOND THOOOO
