The Green Slime (1969) trailer
Released in December of 1968 in Japan (I969 in the Unites States), "The Green Slime" is a cheesy sci-fi Japanese film directed by Kinji Fukasaku and produced by Walter Manley and Ivan Reiner.
The film was written by William Finger, Tom Rowe and Charles Sinclair.
The entire film was shot Japan with a Japanese crew but it stars a mostly Caucasian American cast, which includes the beautiful Italian actress, Luciana Paluzzi.
So this bucket of cheese curds begins with a massive space rock hurdling on a disastrous collision course with planet Earth. With 21st century know-how the rock is destroyed by astronauts but unbeknownst to the astronauts, they brought back with them this thing that looks like a one-eyed octopus that lost some tentacles but grew a lot of testicles to an orbiting space station. These green slime creatures feeds off of radiation and are asexually reproducing. So it's up to the space cowboys to kick the creature's testicles - uh, I mean tentacles.
