In Fallout New Vegas it is possible to get a weapon with one of the highest DPS in-game(equaling that of the unique pistol "lucky"), second to the critical strike ratio of only the silenced .22 pistol. This gun is a late-stage weapon that can be attained in early game if the player B-lines it for Novac.
