Voies Off Prize / 2015 Selection :: Paolo Marchetti
In 2015, Paolo Marchetti was one of the 60 photographers selected for the Voies Off Prize for his work about the 'Cité Soleil'. Founded in the 60s as a result of the rural exodus of thousands of Haitians, the 'Cité Soleil' is one of the seven municipalities of Port-au-Prince. It is regarded by the UN as one of the poorest and most dangerous areas in the Western Hemisphere.
