In 2024, I briefly shared on Instagram the news that I had found my mother after 25 years and visited New Zealand.
However, due to the nature of Reels content, it was difficult to explain the full context, and I noticed that there are still people curious about my current situation.
I believe that finding my mother was all thanks to you, so I wanted to share my story and express my gratitude right away.
However, since this involves family matters beyond personal stories, I had to be cautious, which is why I haven't been able to explain the details until now.
Now that some time has passed, I am finally able to share the full story in a long-form post.
Just because I met my mother after 25 years doesn't mean my life suddenly changed.
There wasn't a movie-like reunion like the ones I imagined as a child.
Instead, warmly supporting each other from our respective places and living our own lives as we do now was the best choice for me, my mother, and my siblings.
And I don't think this entire process was simply due to algorithms.
I believe it was made possible by the collective small hearts of those who like my content and support me.
