Tips for Pruning your Strawberry Plants

Strawberry runners, or stolons, are vines that grow off of the primary strawberry plant. If growing in soil, they will develop roots of their own, but some people prune them to allow the main plant to keep producing fruit 🤤
In the #lettucegrow farm stand, it is best to trim them because they don't have any soil to grow their roots in. You can throw them in the compost, OR, if you have a a growing area with soil, you can propagate them in water and replant them later (aka more plants)
I haven’t had much success growing strawberries because of the birds and rodents in my neighborhood, but they flavors of a garden to table strawberry is simply magical
