Creality 3D Printers - https://amzn.to/3z5SMVu

This arrived in a large branded brown box that opens at the top. Once opened everything is packed into bespoke foam with three layers of components to build the printer. The assembly and usage instructions are well laid out, very clear with detailed steps taking you through the process without cramming too much information onto any single page.

I already own an Ender 5 plus so was fairly confident I could put this together following the manual without any issues. I would say even for someone without any experience the assembly would be fairly straight forward if taken slowly, and closely following the manual.

After unpacking everything I went through the manual step by step and built the printer. Everything went together as it should, and I was pleased to see they had addressed cable management really well so the unit really looks nice and tidy once finished. I went through the setup leveling the bed and once I had everything set I fitted some PLA filament and printed one of the test prints supplied of a small rabbit. I was happy with the result so used the Creality Slicer software to create a print of an articulated Elephant which printed really well.

I found the prints really hold solidly to the frosted surface of the flexible steel sheet removable bed, and found it a lot easier to remove once you let everything cool. I like that the removable bed is notched so replacing and lining it up is very easy.

I have since made several other prints and have been fine tuning the settings and gradually increasing the speed of prints adjusting settings, and am pleased with the quality I have been getting. The dual-gear all metal direct extruder makes feeding and changing the filament very easy, along with giving a smooth flow.

At this time the printer is not listed in Cura the slicing software I normally use, and although I could add it manually I have been using the provided software which is a cut down version of Cura, and perfectly adequate for my needs at the moment while I get used to using the printer and fine tuning.

Noise wise this is a lot quieter than a stock ender 5 but louder than one fitted with a silent board. I found the majority of the noise this printer makes comes from the fans and not the stepper motors.

Overall in my opinion this is works well creating some high quality prints with increased speed. The assembly is fairly straight forward and well documented, the bed adhesion is rock solid although possibly too strong. Cable management has been well thought out and everything looks nice and clean. Fitting and replacing the filament is very easy and with a mass of tutorial videos available any issues can be resolved with a quick search.

About this item: Creality 3D Printer Ender-5 S1 250mm/s High-Speed Printing 3D Printers with 300℃ High-Temp Nozzle Direct Drive Extruder, CR Touch Auto Leveling, Stable Cube Frame High Precision, 220X220X280mm

【250mm/s High-speed Printing Ender】: The Creality Ender 3D printer Refines motion system with a standalone motor at each X/Y/Z axis for up to 2000mm/s² acceleration, and a steel transmission shaft that connects and syncs the Y-axis belts. The medal 3D printer alve the printing time and boosts efficiency.

【Clog-free Direct Extrusion at 300℃】: The “Sprite” dual-gear direct extruder of the Creality Ender-5 s1 3d printers deliver a strong 80N extrusion force. The hotend features a titanium heatbreak blocking heat creep, a corrugated heatsink for rapid cooling, and a 50mm³ large melting chamber to fully melt the filament. It can print PLA, TPU, PETG, ABS, and more, clog-freely for 1,000 hours.

【Stable Frame Underpins Quality】: An all-metal cube frame goes with the classic Cartesian structure. The stability is enhanced by thick linear shafts, extra gussets, two cantilevers, and silicone bed mounts. It ensures a 100% success rate for 1,000h printing at 250mm/s.

【Auto-leveling and Smart Sensors】: The CR Touch probe realizes fully-automatic precise 16-point bed leveling. The Z-offset can be adjusted at 0.05 accuracy with touch control. It also has a filament runout sensor and power loss recovery to factor in accidental moments. It is a tool to always count on.

【Sticky and Bendable PC Build Surface】: The PC spring steel sheet has two notches and a magnetic base for quick installation. The frosted PC surface is sticky to models. After printing, the model can be removed right away with a slight bend.
