In this alternate timeline, it was Flash Thompson, not Peter, who received a spider bite during his decision to attend a science fair. Consequently, Flash's origin story closely mirrors that of Peter Parker. However, unlike Peter, Flash always envisioned himself as a hero and stopped the thief that would have killed Uncle Ben. Dawning the name Spider-Man, Flash became a renowned superhero driven primarily by a desire for fame, which made it difficult for him to accept the public's disapproval of his more aggressive methods. During a confrontation with Peter Parker, Flash unintentionally causes Peter's death, leading him to realize that he was never truly a genuine hero. This realization compels Flash to seek redemption by attempting to save Aunt May's life, in an effort to embody even a fraction of the qualities possessed by Peter Parker. Ultimately, Flash turns himself in for the unintentional murder of Peter.
