Recovery Mode can be useful when a Galaxy phone is having startup problems, is stuck during boot, or you need access to Samsung’s recovery tools outside the normal Android interface.
This video covers:
Samsung Galaxy Recovery Mode
How to open the Android Recovery menu
Galaxy Recovery Mode button combination
What to do if Recovery Mode won’t appear
How to navigate the Recovery menu
How to exit Recovery Mode safely
Demonstrated on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, with the process also applying to many other Samsung Galaxy phones. On some newer Galaxy devices, connecting the phone to a computer or another USB device may be required before the Recovery menu will open.
Important: Some options inside Recovery Mode can erase data, so avoid selecting a factory reset unless that is specifically what you intend to do.
