Set the specific colors for the background and accent in Windows Server 2012 R2

1. Prepapre

DC11 : Domain controller

WIN81 : Member domain

2. Step by step

DC11 :

Server manager - Tools - Group Policy Management - Right click "Default Domain policy" : Edit

Computer Configuration - Policies - Administrative Templates :... - Control Panel - Personalization

Force a specific bakground and accent color : Enable

Start Background color : #FF0000 (red) or any code color in hex as #RGB you like

Accent color : #0000FF (blue) or any code color in hex as #RGB you like

Right click Start - run - cmd - gpupdate /force

WIN81 :

Right click Start - run - cmd - gpupdate /force

Restart

Check color the background changed

Check color the accent changed
