MATLAB Animation & Kinematic Analysis of a Pendulum
In this video we take a look at how the equations of motion for a simple pendulum are derived and how to solve the differential equation of motion in MATLAB. The angular position, velocity, and acceleration of the pendulum mass are plotted as a function of time along with the tension in the pendulum rod. An animation showcasing the pendulum motion is also presented.
