Here is a modular controller I made for the HTC Vive. I demonstrate a VR Glove, but the possibilities are endless. Think of all the guns, swords, light sabers, or Ironman suits you can make! Anything that can complete a circuit can be a button!

You will need to convert your tracker into a controller:
Role changer available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/co4c2pomnhw...
Instructional Video here:

You will need to change the position of your tracker using
OpenVR Input Emulator by Matzman666 available here: https://github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-...

My Glove offsets for OpenVR Input Emulator:
Yaw: +120 Pitch: -60 Roll: +20 X: 9 Y: 9 Z: -3
Your settings may differ due to hand size, comfort and preference.
