Digital Arrest
When a cyber fraudster poses as an officer from the police or any investigating agency during a video call, they attempt to convince the recipient of the call that they will be arrested if they do not carry out a transaction. To further deceive the victim, the fraudsters may provide fake documents to authenticate their identity and statements.
