Why "Showing Intent" Is Ruining Your Game
This should really go under the heading of "truth about pickup", but in this case, I don't think there's anything manipulative going on... I just think most people teaching pickup have no idea what they're doing. In any case this is one of the biggest student sticking points I see OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
