How to Dye Easter Egg = Color Lines = / DIY NataliDoma
Hello everyone! My name is Natalia. In this video I show an interesting way to paint Easter eggs in multicolored stripes, using simple food coloring for eggs.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Eggs in white shells (cooked, hot)
- Food dyes (I have a set of 3 liquid colors - pink, blue, yellow)
- Elastic bands for weaving
- Wipes
- Sponge and pins
- Containers for paint and spoon
- The rubber glove.
HOW TO DO:
1. Put to boil eggs and while they boil, prepare all necessary for coloring:
- Dilute the paint as recommended on the instructions.
- In the sponge for dishes, plug a few pins, arranging them in a circle or oval, so that you can be on the pins to put the egg.
- Prepare wipes, glove and gum.
2. When the eggs cook, don't wait for them to cool down, and immediately proceed with staining.
Lower the egg into the first dye (yellow), and wait until the egg is tinged.
Remove the egg, Pat a drop of paint with a cloth and put to dry to the prepared stand.
3. When the paint on the egg dry, place the egg gum. If the egg is very hot, the gum can burst, in this case, wait it has cooled down a bit.
4. When they put enough rubber bands, dip the egg into a different colour (pink). Wait until it is painted and again put to dry in the stand.
5. When all moisture from the surface of the egg to evaporate, it is possible to remove the gum. If you do not mind, you can cut them with nail scissors. If you start to remove gum without waiting until the egg is completely dry, the color will turn out with worn effect.
The egg turned red in yellow stripes!
6. To make multi-colored stripes, put on an egg gum again and push it to a third dye (blue). Again, allow to dry and remove rubber bands. Now bands become colored. Very beautiful and unusual!
