WinFLP and Transmeta Crusoe based PCs...?
This is to document exactly what happens on this machine on the first virgin boot of WinFLP after completing installation. This is the boot where the First Boot Agent should be starting and configuring the system, but it just sits there endlessly. I was asked to state exactly which bluescreen STOP error I got when the machine comes up for the first time after installation and got this. I thought it bluescreened, but I guess it just locks up. This also happens after setting up the OS from a different box and popping the drive in after forcing-installation of the proper SYSTEM drivers not including the Transmeta.sys driver that would otherwise be in system32/drivers.
I welcome input from anyone having tried to install FLP on a machine like this. Having done many, MANY installs of FLP in past years, even having it installed on a GX110 back in 2009, this completely baffles me more than it does trying to install FLP on a Thinkpad 600X, which is pretty impossible. Believe me, I've tried.
