0:22 - Yarn over twice to wrap the yarns around your crochet hook and pull through. 2 loops sit on your crochet hook. Pull the first loop through the second one. There is now one loop. Chain 2.
0:27 - Count the first chain and then the second chain.
0:30 - Insert your crochet hook in the 1st chain below.
0:35 - The 1st chain will count as the the magic circle.
0:47 - Yarn over and pull the yarn through the loop.
0:53 - 2 strands lie on your crochet hook. Yarn over and pull through the last 2 loops. Single crochet 7 more around the ring.
1:35 - Slip stitch 1. Insert your crochet hook through the first stitch of the new round. Pull the yarn from the back to the front.
1:45 - 2 strands sit on your crochet hook. Pull the 1st loop under the 2nd one.
1:48 - Chain 1.
1:54 - Count 8 stitches including the active one.
1:58 - 8 single crochet stitches sit on your crochet hook, including the active one.
2:37 - Round 1.
2:40 - Insert your crochet hook around the 1st vertical post. This will count as a front post.
2:57 - It is when you insert your crochet hook from the front to the back, back to the front of the vertical post. The post will sit in front of your crochet hook.
2:58 - Pull the yarn from the other side of the post and pull it through. 2 loops will sit on your crochet hook.
3:00 - Yarn over. Pull through the 1st loop only. Yarn over again. Pull the yarn through both loops.

The post will sit in front of your crochet hook. Pull the yarn from the other side of the post and pull it through. 2 loops will sit on your crochet hook. Yarn over. Pull through the 1st loop only.
