Clarification regarding INTEL motherboards:
High-end: Z Series
Mid-range: B Series
Low-end: H Series
Z-series motherboards are typically "premium" motherboards (the high end) intended for enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their computer. Z-series motherboards generally have the most I/O options (such as WiFi, SATA ports, M.2 ports, Ethernet, etc.) and are the only motherboards in this series that can have the frequency multiplier increased above Intel's stock values, but only with K-SKU CPUs like the i7-9700K. This overclocking capability typically leads motherboard manufacturers to include better VRMs (these supply power to the CPU and RAM) and better support for faster memory. The Z series are also the only motherboards in the lineup that feature the ability to split the PCIe x16 from the CPU into two PCIe x8 slots to allow for multi-GPU setups.
The B series are mid-range. These boards are aimed at users who don't want to overclock their CPU and typically have fewer I/O options than a high-end Z series. They don't support overclocking and only have one PCIe x16 slot.
The H series are budget motherboards. They have minimal I/O options, meaning fewer SATA ports, no USB 3.1 gen 2, support for only two DIMM slots, etc. They typically feature minimal VRM configurations.
