Feature Based Machining Inside of NX CAM
In this CAM tutorial, we give an intro to feature based machining and present scenarios of when you would use it and when it would be most beneficial. We then talk a little bit about traditional programming versus feature based machining program.
We'll get into some of the areas where it's been implemented and some of the coverage of feature-based. We'll go into a couple of demos and look at getting started with feature base machining and how you can analyze your parts for the features that you can take advantage of with feature base machining.
