Bivariate Density Statlet
The Bivariate Density Statlet displays the joint distribution of two random variables. Three formats are available: (1) A three-dimensional histogram. (2) A bivariate normal density function fitted to the data. (3) A nonparametric density function estimate. The Statlet is useful for detecting features of the data such as correlation, outliers, and multiple modes.
