To add an ONVIF or RTSP camera to an NVR, you can follow these steps:
Connect the camera and NVR to the same network
Log in to the NVR's interface
Go to the camera configuration settings
Select Custom Protocol
Enter the RTSP stream path
Save the settings
Select an unused IP channel
Change the adding method to Manual
Enter the camera's IP address
Select the RTSP protocol
Enter the camera's username and password
Save the settings
Different brands of IP cameras have different RTSP formats. You can check the camera manufacturer's website for the RTSP stream URL.
