In addition to hiding the SSID to secure the Access Point network, we can also secure the Access Point network we are building by creating a password when connecting to it. To build this type of security system, we need a mechanism or system, which we will then apply to the access point we are building. One such system is Wired Equivalent Privacy, or WEP for short.
WEP is an access point network security system that was first implemented in wireless networks, and of course, this security system is no longer used in access point networks. This is because this type of security system can be breached by cracking to obtain the encrypted password. Because of this ease of breaching, another access point network security system was created, namely Wi-Fi Protected Access, or WPA for short. So why is WPA more secure?
