KOMPAS-3D CAD. Sectioning models by plane, surface, and sketch
During modeling, it can be difficult to evaluate the model, the relative positions of parts and subassemblies, and the component's structural elements. For visual inspection in such cases, the model section mode is used.
Several methods for creating model sections are shown: using a plane, a surface, and a created sketch.
