VW Beetle - Breaking in a camshaft - how long after startup before you bring the rpm up to 2500???
In this video I show the very first start of a brand new engine and demonstrate how long the engine runs before I rev it up to 2500rpm and higher.
Quick hint - the faster you up the engine speed, the better.
I run my new engines above 3000rpm for 30min on the bench, occasionally varying the speed.
