The Array Modifier lives in Blender’s modifier tab, and it’s your go-to tool for making repeated patterns, tiles, spirals, grids, and even motion graphics all based on a single object.
We’ll start by explaining the Relative Offset, which spaces each copy based on the size of the original object great for fences and tiled floors.
Then we’ll look at Constant Offset, which uses fixed measurements for precise control.
You’ll also learn how to use Object Offset where instead of Blender just repeating your object in a line, you use another object (like an Empty or a Circle) to drive the pattern. This opens up powerful setups like circular arrays and animated loops.
Want to animate your array? Just rotate or scale the Offset Object and your whole pattern moves.
