2015 6A Championship: Colquitt County vs. Roswell
Chase Parrish threw for 306 yards and a touchdown as Colquitt County defeated Roswell 30-13 to capture the 6-A state championship. The Packers finished 15-0, extended their winning streak to 30 games, and were named national champions of high school football. Roswell struck first with an 81-yard TD pass on the game’s second play, but Colquitt’s offense proved unstoppable against a Hornets defense boasting five Division I prospects. The Packers became the first team since 1971 to win the title with more passing yards than rushing yards.
