Vegas Pro Map Tutorial: Travel Map making in video editor (level: Easy)
Vegas pro: map making. Video tutorial how to make an animated map in video editing software Vegas Pro, in which you fly with a little aircraft across a map. Step by step explanation how to make a short video of the journey you have taken. I show you how to put a map in your videos and produce a moving line on it, which will indicate the route that you are travelling. In this video I explain how to fly from New York to London and display a moving line on the map. In addition I show you how to make an animation with a little clipart aircraft that flies over the map. This tutorial uses Vegas Pro 15 for video editing and Paint 3D (that comes free with Windows 10) to make a line for the route traveled. It also shows you how to use croma keyer to display various cliparts moving on the map. If you make a travel movie and want to show where you have been or where you want to go, this moving map is a great way to tell the story. If you dont have Vegas Pro, you can probably use the same ideas in you own video editing programme. With mapping you can make your own map video. I am explaining how to use lineair wipe, croma keyer, key frames and motion tracking to make this video.
