The TSI engines in your Virtus, Slavia, Kushaq, or Taigun uses
direct injection technology that's extremely sensitive to fuel quality.
Contaminated fuel (water mixed petrol, low octane fuel, or adulterated
petrol from cheaper outlets) triggers misfires, spark plug fouling, and
ultimately EPC error codes.
⛽ The solution most owners overlook:
Buying fuel ONLY from COCO outlets (Indian Oil COCO, BPCL COCO, HPCL
COCO) or premium options like Shell guarantees fuel quality. I've followed
this strict practice for 3 years — zero EPC issues at 70,000+ km.

MAF sensor contamination (clean every 50,000 km)
Water condensation in fuel tank (keep tank above 1/4 always)
