Saturday Morning 8k Test Footage with Micah - Sony a1 + 85mm 1.4 G Master w Joel Famularo Alexa LUT
The 8k s-log 3 footage was quite easy to work with straight out of camera which I didn't expect. The 85mm 1.4 wide open did amazing tracking until the very end of this clip which likely could be more attributed to focal distance than lens or AF failure though I didn't measure the distance specifically.
I cranked the shutter as this isn't my camera, nor is it my lens, so I didn't have the proper ND filter for it. The exposure was a little hot still. That said, in post, I was able to bring the exposure where it needed to be without blowing anything out. Highlights roll off beautifully if you ask me.
