I just watched the Netflix series "The Three-Body Problem," based on Liu Cixin's trilogy. On the one hand, the renowned author and the highly unusual literary source material inspired hope. But on the other, the "Game of Thrones" showrunners, who managed to screw up a series that had started off so well, were troubling. So what's the bottom line?
